Karvar Energy Company, by developing an artificial intelligence-based system, rewards low-consumption gas subscribers with cash. Paydar Ardakani, an active member of this company, announced that by attracting 10% of household subscribers, it is possible to save approximately 6 million cubic meters of gas daily.
Gas Consumption Optimization Process
Ardakani explained the activities of this system in the field of gas consumption optimization and said: "Household subscribers can install the software to provide their consumption data from the past three years to the system. Then, the artificial intelligence model predicts their daily consumption volume using this information and parameters such as temperature and humidity."

He continued that subscribers must send a daily picture of their gas meter, and the actual consumption is compared with the predicted volume. If consumption decreases compared to the prediction, subscribers receive cash rewards proportional to the amount saved, which is deposited into their wallets.
Development of Optimization Equipment
Ardakani also referred to the development of the company's services in the field of optimization equipment and said: "Some subscribers need hardware equipment and solutions to reduce consumption. For this purpose, equipment with significant discounts has been made available to subscribers."
Among these actions is the replacement of old heaters with new ones, which is done with discounts of 80 to 90 percent. The repayment of costs is also anticipated from the benefits obtained from future savings.
Ardakani announced the expansion of this model to commercial and industrial sectors, stating that sectors such as greenhouses and bakeries have entered this project as a pilot. He also pointed out the challenges of data exchange between companies active in the optimization field and the National Gas Company, emphasizing the need to pay attention to this issue.
Targeting Savings
This Karvar sector activist added: "Our target is to attract at least 10% of household subscribers this year, equivalent to about 3 million users. Based on the results of the conducted pilots, we predict that an average daily saving of 2 cubic meters per subscriber is possible."
If this goal is achieved, the savings capacity of this system could reach about 6 million cubic meters per day. Ardakani also referred to the demands of activists in this field from the National Gas Company and called for the acceleration of the measurement and issuance process of savings certificates.
He also evaluated the performance of this collection positively in the past year, stating that in the first year, approximately 4 million cubic meters of savings were recorded, and it is estimated that this figure will reach 20 million cubic meters in the second year.
In conclusion, Ardakani pointed out the economic value of savings certificates, saying: "5 million cubic meters of the first savings certificate of the gas company has been allocated to the Mahan project, and the price of each cubic meter of gas in the market is about 50,000 tomans."
