Alimorad Rashidi, a scientist at the Oil Industry Research Institute, has been awarded the global WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) award for his outstanding achievements in the development of carbon nanostructures in the oil and gas industry. This award was granted in recognition of his top ranking at the 39th Khwarizmi International Festival.

The Khwarizmi International Festival is one of the prestigious events in the field of science and technology, focusing on projects that lead to product development and industrial applications. Alimorad Rashidi is recognized as one of the pioneers in this field with over 20 international patents and more than 50 domestic patents. Additionally, he has been able to earn this award due to his outstanding intellectual property indicators.
Appreciation for Scientific Efforts
Azim Kalantari Asl, the head of the Oil Industry Research Institute, congratulated Rashidi and appreciated his scientific and technological activities and achievements at the Khwarizmi Festival. He stated: "Achieving a position of scientific authority is the result of years of targeted effort and continuous pursuit." Rashidi has also been listed among the top 1% of scientists in the world for more than five consecutive terms and among the top 2% for five terms. These achievements reflect his outstanding scientific and technical capabilities on the international stage.
