Sasan Timouri, in an interview with Shana reporter about the winter fuel supply in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, stated: About 8200 households in the villages and hard-to-reach areas of this province lack natural gas, and their winter fuel is provided using kerosene. Therefore, considering the possibility of road blockages due to temperature drops and snowfall, more than 50 percent of the fuel for these households has been sent.

Fuel Supply for Various Sectors

Timouri stated that alongside supplying fuel for the residential sector, fuel for hospitals, industries, mines, public transportation, and agriculture in the province has also been planned and supplied. He emphasized that all operational capacities and fuel transportation fleets in the region have been mobilized to supply and distribute the necessary petroleum products for the province. These actions are aimed at ensuring the fuel needs of households, medical centers, production and economic sectors, and remote and hard-to-reach areas during the winter season.

Increase in CNG Consumption in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari

The manager of the National Oil Products Distribution Company in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari pointed to the growth in CNG consumption in this province, stating: CNG consumption in September of this year has increased by 11 percent compared to the same period last year, and since the implementation of the third gasoline price adjustment on September 8, CNG consumption in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari has increased by 16 percent.

Timouri reminded that this increase in CNG consumption indicates the capacity of this fuel in the energy basket of the transportation sector. Continuation of cultural promotion and information dissemination about the economic and environmental benefits and its role in consumption management can help in more targeted use of this capacity.

He referred to the implementation of a dual-fuel plan for internet taxis in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari and said: Aiming to reduce gasoline consumption intensity in the province, long-distance internet taxis can register on the system gcr.niopdc.ir to convert their vehicles to dual-fuel for free, thereby increasing the share of CNG consumption in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari.

The manager of the National Oil Products Distribution Company in Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari also stated that this region has 64 liquid fuel stations and 40 CNG supply stations, emphasizing that due to the imbalance of gasoline in the country, the people of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari are requested to pay special attention to optimal fuel consumption management and assist us in providing quality service.
