Mohammad Masoud Sami Nejad, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, announced at the coordination meeting for the Metal Expo Russia (2026) the presence of Iranian mining and mineral industries at this international exhibition. This initiative aims to enhance trade and economic relations with the Eurasian region and strengthen cooperation in the development of the industry and mining.
Objectives of Participation in the Exhibition
Sami Nejad stated that one of the ways to mitigate the oppressive sanctions of Europe and the West is to develop trade with the countries of the Eurasian region, adding: "A strong presence at the international Expo in Russia is a great opportunity to strengthen relations in the field of industry and mining."
Participating Companies and Dates
The head of the Executive Board of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) expressed hope that the presence of Iranian companies at the mentioned exhibition would lead to valuable achievements resulting in contracts in the field of technology and development, announcing that about 28 major companies have so far expressed readiness to participate in this exhibition. Additionally, some oil and petrochemical companies as well as IDRO have also announced their participation in the exhibition.
The Expo in Russia will take place from November 9 to 13, 2026, and as an international platform for exchanging information and experiences in various industrial and mining fields, it provides an opportunity for Iranian companies to showcase their capabilities.
