The Ministry of Oil has provided a sign of success in this area by achieving a top rank in maximum interaction between the government and the parliament. Ramadanali Sangdooni, a member of the Energy Commission of the Parliament, emphasized that this interaction is valuable when it is also reflected in practice. The positive performance of the Ministry of Oil in the sensitive conditions of the country, especially during critical periods, demonstrates the capacity of this ministry in supplying and distributing energy.

Maintaining Fuel Supply in Wartime Conditions

Sangdooni referred to the special conditions that arose during the 12-day war and the imposed war. He stated that part of the country's oil facilities were targeted by enemy attacks, but despite these pressures, the process of fuel supply and distribution in the country did not stop. Especially in the areas of gasoline and gas, no disruption in services to the people was observed.

He also emphasized the importance of fuel supply as one of the vital arteries of the country and stated that if fuel supply is disrupted in wartime, its effects will not be limited to the energy sector and can impact transportation, production, public services, and even the economic security of the country.

Operational Stability of the Oil Industry

Sangdooni continued: "Despite the ongoing maritime blockade and external pressures, the country's fuel supply has followed its normal course. This indicates that the oil industry has managed to maintain its operational stability and meet the energy needs of the country."

He emphasized the role of oil industry workers and stated that the forces of this industry are working under difficult conditions and sometimes in areas where facilities have been targeted for attack, to ensure that the production and supply of energy in the country do not stop. These workers, as the human capital of the oil industry, should be supported, as supporting them is not only a welfare issue but is also related to the continuity of production and energy security of the country.

Achievement of Self-Sufficiency in Diesel Production

A member of the Energy Commission of the Parliament referred to the issue of self-sufficiency in diesel production and considered it an important achievement for the country. Especially in conditions where the country faces external limitations and pressures from war, self-sufficiency in diesel production can reduce the country's vulnerability. Diesel plays a vital role as the main fuel for a significant portion of the transportation fleet, agriculture, and production machinery of the country.

Sangdooni emphasized that maintaining and strengthening diesel production capacity should be a priority in the country's energy policy. Ultimately, he referred to the satisfactory score of the Ministry of Oil in the area of interaction with the Parliament and stated that this interaction should lead to tangible results. The positive performance of the Ministry of Oil in wartime conditions demonstrates the ability of this ministry to maintain energy production and distribution during critical periods.
