The eighth meeting of the Secretariat of the Executive Agencies Synergy Campaign and community activists was held with the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Oil and the Ministry of Power and the First Vice President. In this meeting, which took place on October 4, 2023, a report was presented on the progress of service and cultural campaigns in the gas sector and the "Energy Pulse" campaign in the petrochemical industry.
The Necessity of Cooperation Between Ministries
In this meeting, the necessity of continuing cooperation and coordination among executive agencies for managing energy consumption was emphasized. The formation of the Secretariat of the Executive Agencies Synergy Campaign and the holding of continuous meetings of this working group have provided a platform for greater coordination between the Ministry of Oil and the Ministry of Power on energy-related issues. As the cold season approaches and the importance of gas supply and management increases, this issue becomes even more critical.
Gas Management in the Cold Season
The issue of gas and managing conditions in the cold season is one of the important topics being pursued with the coordination and oversight of the First Vice President. Relevant agencies within this working group review the latest status of their programs and actions. In the eighth meeting of the Secretariat of the Campaign, reports on actions taken within the framework of service and cultural campaigns related to the gas sector were presented, and discussions were held about upcoming plans to strengthen social participation in energy consumption management.
A report was also presented on the implementation of the "Energy Pulse" campaign in the petrochemical industry. The capacities of this campaign for cultural promotion, increasing awareness, and engaging the community in optimal energy consumption were examined. Given the challenges ahead in managing energy consumption during the cold season, these campaigns can play an important role in enhancing public awareness.
Based on the discussions held in this meeting, the continuation of cooperation between the Ministries of Oil and Power and the utilization of the capacities of executive agencies and social activists can contribute to greater coordination in implementing energy consumption management programs, especially in the upcoming months and the cold season. This cooperation will particularly benefit the community and the country in ensuring gas supply and managing its consumption.
