Formation of a Joint Task Force

Shakri emphasized the importance of reconstructing damaged units, stating that the Ministry of Oil is attentive to the necessity of removing existing obstacles in this area. He mentioned that with the formation of this task force, the issues and challenges facing the damaged petrochemical units will be examined, and practical and supportive solutions will be developed to expedite the reconstruction process and the re-launch of these units.

The Necessity of Coordination Among Agencies

The CEO of the National Petrochemical Company also noted that the return of damaged units to the production cycle requires coordination and support from relevant agencies. Identifying obstacles in the reconstruction process and providing appropriate solutions to overcome them will be other objectives of this task force.

According to Shakri, the outcome of this task force's activities will be the development of a support package to assist the damaged petrochemical industries; a package aimed at accelerating reconstruction and returning production capacities to operational status. The Ministry of Oil intends to create better conditions for the damaged petrochemical units with this action.

The Importance of Continuity in Petrochemical Unit Operations

This action is being pursued while the continuity of operations of petrochemical units and the rapid return of damaged capacities to production are highlighted as important issues by the petrochemical industry and the Ministry of Oil.
