Udo Lange, CEO of Stolt-Nielsen, stated: "I am pleased to report that our underlying operational performance is nearly in line with last year and has improved compared to the previous quarter, despite challenging economic conditions. Global supply chains are complex, and our visibility remains limited. Customer discussions have shifted from supply chain efficiency to its resilience. Our portfolio allows us to provide flexibility in transportation, storage, and intermodal solutions to support our customers' logistics needs.

During the quarter, Stolt Tankers' revenues decreased year-on-year but remained stable compared to the previous quarter, while average freight rates were offset by reduced volumes and higher fuel costs. Stolthaven Terminal improved year-on-year with increased utilization and operating profit. Stolt Tank Containers continues to integrate the Sutton business and is expanding scale, product offerings, and market access.

Stolt-Magnus also faced an attack off the coast of Oman in July. We are insured and expect minimal financial impact on the company, and more importantly, we are pleased that there were no injuries to our crew and the cargo was secured. During the quarter, we completed the sale of 50% of our stake in Avenir LNG to NYK Line, which established a strategic partnership to accelerate growth in the small-scale LNG and LNG bunkering sectors.
