South Oilfields has taken an important step in its social responsibility by issuing a permit to establish a girls' technical and vocational school in the computer field for the second cycle of secondary education located in the village of Abdullah Amouri. This school allows girls in this village to continue their education after the ninth grade in their place of residence and provides them access to technical and vocational training in the field of information technology.
Development of educational infrastructure and educational opportunities
This initiative not only helps develop educational infrastructure in the region but also increases educational and vocational opportunities for female students and strengthens the educational capacities of the areas surrounding oil and gas facilities. With this initiative, girls in this region can acquire the necessary skills to enter the job market in the field of information technology, which is highly important in today's world.
Collaboration with contractors and national companies
This plan is being pursued in collaboration with the Sarvestan Gas Refinery as the contractor for the associated gas sales project of Marun and the Marun Oil and Gas Operating Company, which is one of the subsidiaries of the National South Oilfields Company in the field of oil and gas production and operation. This collaboration demonstrates a serious commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure in the oil-rich regions of the country.
The Ministry of Oil is also striving to empower teachers and students by implementing thousands of educational projects in various regions of the country, while completing unfinished schools. According to available information, since the beginning of the fourteenth government, a total of 1,430 school and educational space construction projects have been planned, of which 424 projects have been completed and 1,006 other projects are underway. A significant portion of these projects is being implemented in oil-rich provinces and areas with oil and gas production capacity.
