Sara Fallahi today (Monday, October 19) referred to the role of women in shaping civilization and developing societies, stating: Women, in addition to their fundamental role in the family, have a crucial share in nurturing generations and shaping the ethics and culture of society; therefore, trusting in their capabilities and providing the grounds for their presence in managerial positions is of special importance.
The Necessity of Utilizing Women's Capacities in Management
Fallahi emphasized the necessity of utilizing women's capacities in areas facing managerial gaps, adding: More opportunities must be provided for women to participate in decision-making arenas. If the process of promoting women's managerial positions continues at this limited speed, achieving their rightful status may take decades.
The Positive Effects of Women's Presence in Decision-Making
The representative of the people of Ilam in the Islamic Consultative Assembly pointed out the experience of companies in utilizing female managers, stating: Studies and managerial experiences show that the presence of women in decision-making structures can help improve the performance of organizations; therefore, excluding women from managerial opportunities means ignoring part of the country's development capacity.
Fallahi reminded that Iranian women possess scientific capacity, courage, and managerial ability, and with the provision of appropriate opportunities, they can achieve valuable accomplishments in various fields.
Trusting Women Beyond a Slogan
She stated that trust in women must go beyond the level of a slogan, saying: Women should have the opportunity for effective participation in the fields of politics, economy, culture, and society so that they can demonstrate their capabilities in practice. Strengthening women's self-confidence and maintaining their dignity is also a necessity on this path.
Fallahi emphasized the necessity of joint participation of women and men in the country's progress, stating: Iran, with its historical and civilizational background, needs to utilize all human capacities to overcome challenges and achieve a bright future. Women and men together can build a powerful country and a model for other nations.
Sustainable Progress is Not Possible Without Women's Participation
Fallahi, referring to Iran's position in the history of resistance and the necessity of preserving national identity, added: Building a great Iran requires trust in the knowledge, courage, and capabilities of women and providing equal participation opportunities for them; because sustainable progress of the country is not possible without utilizing the capacity of half of society.
