The energy industry in Iran has continued to maintain its stable status despite multiple challenges. After failing in its military objectives, especially in attempts to weaken defensive and nuclear capabilities, the enemy has shifted its strategy to economic pressures. The main focus of this economic war is energy, which was targeted during the ٤٠-day war, affecting several refineries, petrochemicals, and thousands of points in the country's electricity network.
Status of Refineries and Energy Supply
Despite these attacks, the assessment of the situation shows that the enemy's plan to create a crisis in the country has failed. Unlike some countries that faced fuel crises and long queues, there has been no increase in gasoline prices or disruption in fuel distribution in Iran. In the electricity sector, despite the strikes on the network, blackouts due to the war did not occur, and the electricity network only faced blackouts due to the usual imbalances of previous years.

This stability is due to the efforts of executive forces and supervisors who, through jihadist management, prevented the emergence of a crisis. The resilience of Iran's energy industry is rooted in two fundamental factors: first, the knowledge and expertise of the country's technical and engineering human resources, and second, self-sufficiency in providing the necessary equipment for refineries and power plants. Self-sufficiency does not mean isolation and severing ties with global knowledge, and technology exchange continues.
Self-Sufficiency and Capacity Reconstruction
Our country has reached a level of independence where it can repair, reconstruct, and update its equipment. During the ٤٠-day war, four gas refineries in the country were attacked, and ٢٥% of the country's gas production faced problems. Currently, half of this damaged capacity has returned to the grid, and the rest is in the process of reconstruction.
In conclusion, it should be noted that the gas imbalance in the country is an issue that has existed independently of wartime conditions in winter and creates challenges in electricity supply due to the dependence of thermal power plants on gas fuel. This imbalance has now been exacerbated by the enemy's actions. Officials and technical experts are working around the clock, and dear compatriots are requested to help manage consumption and optimize to overcome the challenges anticipated in the upcoming winter. The enemy is counting on the gas imbalance in the coming winter, but I am confident that with the determination of officials and the cooperation of the people, this front will also become another arena of defeat for the enemies of the Iranian nation.
