Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery lost 4-0 against Aryo Islamshahr in the sixth week of the first division football league of the country. This heavy defeat came after the oil refinery team had drawn against Havadar the previous week, and now with only 6 points from 6 matches, it sits in 13th place in the standings.
Disappointing performance of Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery
The Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery team has shown an unexpected performance at the beginning of this competition with an average of one point per game. These results have not only caused disappointment among fans but have also led to criticisms regarding the coaching staff and the future of this team. Given the existing pressures, the coaching staff needs to change the trend of results to satisfy fans and improve their position in the table.

Success of Qeshm Island
In contrast, the Qeshm Island football team has taken advantage of this situation well and, with their third consecutive victory, has shown that they are currently in better form. This week, the team hosted Mes Kerman and managed to secure a valuable three points with a 1-0 victory. With this win, Qeshm Island reached 12 points and, due to a lower goal difference compared to Aryo Islamshahr, is in fourth place in the Azadegan League standings.
With the continued successful trend of Qeshm Island, the team is more hopeful for the days ahead. In the seventh week, Qeshm Island will visit Tehran's Ground Force on Monday, October 25, and Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery will host Mes Rafsanjan at home on Tuesday, October 26. Both Hormozgani teams will enter the seventh week with different results, and it remains to be seen whether Bandar Abbas Oil Refinery can change its course or if Qeshm Island will continue its victories.
