Gas production from Phase 11 of the shared South Pars field has reached one billion cubic feet per day. Touraj Dehghani, CEO of the Pars Oil and Gas Company, announced this news and stated that with the successful completion of drilling operations, the completion and perforation of the twelfth well at the SPD11B site, the nominal production capacity of this platform has increased to this level.
Achieving Final Capacity
Dehghani considered reaching this level of production a decisive point in the development of the last border phase of South Pars and added that increasing the extraction capacity from Phase 11 is part of the Pars Oil and Gas Company's strategy to protect Iran's share in extracting from the shared reservoir and maximizing the production capacity of the field.

Continuous and Accelerated Development
He pointed out that the phased increase in production from the SPD11B site has been pursued with significant momentum during the fourteenth government and over the past two years, and with the continuous entry of new wells into operation, the production capacity of the platform has gradually increased. Currently, with the completion of the twelfth well, this site has reached a nominal capacity of one billion cubic feet per day, equivalent to about 28 million cubic meters of rich gas per day.
Phase 11 of South Pars, as the last phase of development of the largest gas field in the world, is considered one of the strategic projects of Iran's oil industry. This project, valued at nearly $4 billion, is underway, and its ultimate goal is to achieve a sustainable daily production of 2 billion cubic feet of raw gas from this strategic part of the shared field.
National Importance and Sustainable Gas Supply
Within the framework of the development plan for Phase 11, the construction and installation of offshore facilities at two border sites and the drilling of 27 wells have been defined as the main objectives of the project. With the gradual entry of new wells into the production cycle, this project will play an important role in increasing the extraction capacity from the shared South Pars field and helping to address the gas demand crisis.
As maintaining and increasing gas production capacity from the shared South Pars field is one of the main priorities of the country's oil industry, completing this section of Phase 11 and developing new drilling fronts will have a direct role in strengthening the capacity for sustainable gas supply in the country.
