Othman Salari, a representative of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, addressed the demands of the people in his electoral district during today's (Sunday, October 5) public webinar session and stressed the necessity of solving the problems of children of Iranian mothers. In his interim speech, he requested the President to take action regarding the replacement of some ineffective deputies and ministers.
The Need to Resolve Identity Issues for Children of Iranian Mothers
Salari stated in this session that having a birth certificate and identity document is a fundamental and obvious right of every human being. Despite the approval of the law granting birth certificates to children of Iranian mothers in 2019, hundreds and thousands of people in the districts of his electoral area are still deprived of the blessing of having an identity document and birth certificate. He also highlighted the importance of a positive response from security agencies to inquiries and noted that a woman with no security background should not face issues in obtaining a birth certificate.

The Economic Importance of Dogharoun Customs and Free Trade Zone
Salari also referred to the 107-year-old Dogharoun customs and stated that it should not be considered solely belonging to Taybad. He described this customs as part of the national economy and the golden gateway of the eastern country. According to him, in accordance with Article 65 of the Permanent Laws of the Country's Development Programs, all agencies stationed at the border must coordinate and operate around the clock and intelligently under a unified management. He urged security agencies to identify and introduce potential economic mafias at the Dogharoun border.
In conclusion, Salari referred to the living conditions of the people and said: "Unfortunately, people are in poverty, and it is essential for the President to assist these people." He emphasized that these demands are not partisan or political and should be considered as the demands of the people.
