Brent crude oil price reached $109.86 per barrel, reflecting an increase of $3.94 or 3.7% compared to previous prices. This is the highest level of Brent oil price since May 19 of this year. According to available reports, increasing tensions in the Middle East and limitations in oil supply are recognized as the main factors for this price increase.

Increase in West Texas Intermediate Crude Oil Price

Alongside Brent, the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude oil also rose by $3.44 or 3.5% to $101.41. This price is the highest since September 17. Since the beginning of this week, Brent oil price has increased by 4.9% and U.S. crude oil by 10.4%, indicating significant changes in the oil market.

Market Conditions Analysis and Its Implications

The energy research and consulting institute, Spects, has analyzed market conditions in a note and pointed out concerns about escalating tensions in the Middle East. In particular, rumors regarding attacks on Saudi Arabia's energy infrastructure have fueled these concerns. This situation has led market participants to assess the level of Russian diesel supply to the global market.

In this context, the coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced that it intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched towards the city of Yanbu on the Red Sea. The port of Yanbu is recognized as one of the key points in Saudi Arabia's efforts to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, enabling the country to continue oil flow to global markets.

Given the current conditions and tensions in the Middle East, it is expected that oil prices will remain influenced by these factors in the near future. Analysts believe that any escalation of tensions could lead to further price increases and impact global oil supply and demand.

Overall, these developments highlight the significant importance of political and security conditions in the Middle East on the global oil market. Particularly, this region has a profound impact on global oil prices, and any fluctuations in it can lead to major changes in the international market.
