Mostafa Pourdehghan, a member of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, reviewed the latest status of the reconstruction of affected industries in the war during a recent meeting with relevant ministers and banking officials. In this session, various reports were presented by the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Industry, the Central Bank Governor, and the Planning Organization, which referred to the actions taken and the allocation of efforts for the reconstruction of the units.
Discrepancy Between Reported Figures and Ground Reality
Pourdehghan also pointed out the discrepancies between the numbers reported in the reports and the situation observed on the ground. Many units are still waiting to receive government loans to improve their conditions. He emphasized that the banking bureaucracy systems are the main obstacle to utilizing these loans.

Financing Affected Industries and the Need for Government Attention
The member of the Industries and Mines Commission continued, "Unfortunately, the banking bureaucracy systems do not allow many industrial units to utilize these loans. While this credit line has been established through the efforts of the Parliament." He added that banks should consider the specific conditions of these units and provide financing as quickly as possible.
Pourdehghan also referred to the use of new financing tools for the reconstruction of affected industries, stating: "Financial resources are mainly provided through the traditional financing system, namely banks, such that 85% of credit financing comes from this source, and it is natural that everyone waits for the banks' conditions for reconstruction."
He also emphasized the government's and authorities' duty to provide the necessary credit for these units, as the destruction of industries is a national issue and is not limited to the internal matters of companies.
Effects of Targeted Attacks on Self-Sufficient Industries
Pourdehghan, referring to targeted attacks on steel, petrochemical, and pharmaceutical industries during the war, stated: "The damages inflicted by the enemy on production units have been targeted, and industries that were foreign exchange earners have been attacked." He also mentioned the problems these attacks have created for the country.
In conclusion, Pourdehghan said: "The reports we have indicate that most of the damages have been reconstructed and repaired by domestic producers and the capable local forces." He called for the acceleration of addressing deficiencies and completing tasks by the end of the year.
