Aref also referred to the Ministry of Oil's contributions to the health and medical sector and stated that the government has benefited from these aids. This issue has become particularly important during the outbreak of infectious diseases and public health crises. Therefore, the Ministry of Oil is playing a role not only as an economic player but also as a social institution.

In this meeting, Aref emphasized the importance of international cooperation in the oil industry and noted that, given the economic sanctions, the need for active diplomacy in this area is felt more than ever. He also pointed out the existing challenges in securing foreign investments for oil projects and called for special attention from the government to this matter.
