The meeting of the Deputy Council of the Ministry of Oil was held today (Sunday, October 18) with the presence of Hamid Bord, the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil. This meeting was convened to review and follow up on the resolutions from the recent trip of the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil to the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone, as well as the status of the reconstruction of the damaged facilities in South Pars and the development of oil and gas fields.

Main Topics of the Meeting

In this meeting, Hamid Bord emphasized the importance of following up on the resolutions from the trip to the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone and stated that these resolutions could have a significant impact on the development and utilization of the country's oil and gas resources. He also referred to the status of the reconstruction of the damaged facilities in South Pars and called for speeding up the reconstruction and repair processes of these facilities.

Development of Oil and Gas Fields

One of the key topics raised in this meeting was the development of the country's oil and gas fields. Bord, while pointing out the immense capacities of the existing oil and gas fields in the country, stressed the need for investment in this area. He also mentioned the necessity of collaboration with foreign companies for optimal utilization of these resources and expressed hope that with the establishment of suitable frameworks, we would witness a boom in this sector.

According to the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil, the development of oil and gas fields not only helps increase the production and export of the country's oil and gas but can also lead to job creation and economic growth. In this regard, Bord emphasized close cooperation with various governmental and private entities to achieve developmental goals.

Challenges and Future

Despite Iran's high capacities in the oil and gas sector, challenges such as sanctions and a lack of foreign investments were raised as the main obstacles to the development of these fields. In this meeting, the deputies of the Ministry of Oil examined solutions for attracting necessary investments and improving the conditions for production and utilization of oil and gas resources.

Ultimately, the meeting of the Deputy Council of the Ministry of Oil resulted in the approval of some new programs and plans, which are expected to bring about a transformation in the development process of the country's oil and gas fields. Additionally, the holding of periodic meetings to follow up on the implementation of these programs and resolutions was also approved.
