Alireza Ghazvinizadeh, the maintenance and repair manager of Isfahan Oil Refining Company, announced the start of major repairs at three units of Isfahan Refinery. These repairs commenced after the successful completion of repairs on unit number one of the diesel refining process and have been ongoing since October 3 of this year.

Details of Major Repairs

The repairs are being conducted in the catalytic conversion unit number one, viscosity reduction unit number one, and nitrogen production unit. This project is being pursued around the clock with the participation of 1,500 operational personnel. Ghazvinizadeh emphasized that the repair of the turbine and gas compressor of the catalytic conversion unit C-251 is considered one of the specialized activities of this period.

The Importance of Safety and Quality in Repairs

The maintenance and repair manager of Isfahan Oil Refining Company emphasized the importance of coordination among operational, repair, technical, and safety sections and stated: strict adherence to the schedule is a requirement for executing this program. Additionally, a significant portion of the actions taken relies on the technical knowledge and capabilities of domestic specialists, and all stages are monitored under safety, quality, and technical requirements.

Ghazvinizadeh added: during the execution of repairs, other units of the refinery continue their production activities, and operational and maintenance activities are ongoing in them. This ensures that production in other units is not disrupted and the refinery's production capacity is maintained.

Major repairs at Isfahan Refinery, one of the largest refineries in the country, are of high importance. Given the daily production capacity of this refinery, conducting repairs regularly and with high quality can help increase productivity and reduce costs. Ultimately, the goal of these repairs is to achieve high safety and quality standards in refining processes.
