Kuwait, producing over 2 million barrels of oil per day, has consistently maintained its oil exports and appears to be unaffected by the recent tensions in the region. This is while oil markets have been impacted by recent attacks on the Shaybah oil field and King Fahd International Airport in Saudi Arabia.

Attacks on Saudi Arabia and Their Impacts

Saudi Arabia has stated that the country's oil production has not been affected by the recent attacks. However, these attacks have significantly impacted oil prices, with Brent crude rising above $110 per barrel. This concerning situation has prompted the U.S. State Department to evacuate non-emergency personnel from Saudi Arabia. This action reflects the rising tensions in the Middle East and has alarmed the markets.

Kuwait's Oil Production and Export Statistics

The CEO of Kuwait Oil Company has announced that the country produces over 2 million barrels of oil daily and continues its exports at pre-war levels. However, he acknowledged that transporting refined products has become problematic. Meanwhile, former U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed concerns over high oil prices due to supply risks. This issue has raised worries about the sustainability of oil flows.

Data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration shows that the country's crude oil inventories decreased by 3.06 million barrels last week. Additionally, strategic petroleum reserves have also dropped by 300,000 barrels. These declines are attributed to the impacts of recent storms in the Gulf of Mexico, where U.S. oil production has estimatedly fallen by 410,000 barrels per day.

Meanwhile, U.S. crude oil imports have decreased by 291,000 barrels per day, and exports have fallen by 1.13 million barrels per day. Regarding refined products, gasoline demand has increased by 574,000 barrels per day compared to last week, leading to a reduction of 2.95 million barrels in gasoline inventories. However, the diesel market has seen an increase in inventories, with distillate stocks rising by 1.68 million barrels.
