Mohsen Khajeh Mehr, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, explained the status of the country's oil production in a meeting with media representatives. He stated that since the beginning of the thirteenth government, Iran's oil production has reached 2.2 million barrels per day, and this figure will increase to 3.5 million barrels by the end of next month.
Details of Oil Production
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company further referred to the details of oil production in various fields and stated that this increase in production is due to improved technical conditions and increased productivity in the country's oil fields. Khajeh Mehr explained that by implementing various projects and optimizing processes, we have been able to raise oil production to higher levels.

Oil Fields and New Capacities
The West Karun oil fields and the Azadegan field are among the key fields that have witnessed an increase in production during this period. In particular, the Azadegan field, with a production capacity of 750,000 barrels per day, plays an important role in achieving production goals. Additionally, the West Karun field, with a similar capacity, is recognized as one of the main axes of Iran's oil production.
Khajeh Mehr also referred to the future plans of the National Iranian Oil Company for increasing oil production capacity and said: "Our target for the end of this year is to achieve a daily production of 4 million barrels of oil, which is heavily dependent on infrastructure and new investments."
