Specialized Firefighter Tests
These teams, which have been previously selected at the internal level of their companies, will be evaluated in 6 specialized items. These items are designed to assess their physical readiness, responsiveness, accuracy, and team decision-making ability. Lazemi stated that the experience of being in tough conditions and crisis management in oil facilities is the main focus of the training in this course, noting: Firefighters in the refining and distribution industry have played a significant role in controlling fires and preventing their spread to other tanks by their timely and selfless presence in oil transfer centers and storage facilities. These forces have successfully managed to extinguish fires and secure industrial sites with high volumes of hydrocarbon materials through skill and emergency management.
Strategic Approaches of the National Oil Products Distribution Company
The Director of Health, Safety, Environment, and Non-Military Defense of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company emphasized that this assessment course, alongside operational drills at levels 1 and 2 and internal drills that are continuously held throughout the year, is part of the strategic approaches of the National Oil Products Distribution Company to maintain and enhance the capabilities of specialized forces. The goal is to ensure that, while exchanging experiences, the readiness of these forces to face any emergency situation is maintained at the highest possible level.
