The first national innovation event in enhancing the performance of thermal power plants will be held with the aim of identifying and supporting innovative projects to address the challenges of the power industry and improve the performance of power units. This event particularly focuses on the fuel value chain for power plants and improving the quality of liquid fuels, including mazut.

Date of the Event and Participation Conditions

This one-day event will take place on December 21, 2026, and the deadline for submitting projects is set from October 12 to November 15, 2026. The event's secretariat has invited universities, research centers, knowledge-based companies, power plants, and industrialists to present their innovative projects. These projects must respond to the challenges of fuel supply for power plants and enhance the capacity, efficiency, operation, maintenance, and repair of power units.

Judging Levels and Awards

Submitted projects will be received and judged at three levels: "Idea," "Technical Knowledge and Laboratory Prototype," and "Semi-Industrial and Industrial." The judging will be conducted in a way that supports selected projects according to the level of technological maturity and implementation capacity of each project. Additionally, a national innovative power plant award and execution incentives have been considered to support the top projects. These supports aim to enhance the maturity of innovative products and solutions and facilitate their commercialization, including attracting investors and providing specialized human capital.
