Hamid Bord, the head of the Ministry of Oil, traveled today (Tuesday, October 13) on his first operational trip to the Pars Special Energy Zone. The purpose of this trip was to conduct a field assessment of the progress of reconstruction operations, examine the obstacles and challenges ahead, and follow up on necessary actions to expedite the completion of repairs and restore lost capacities to the production cycle. With the approach of the cold days of the year and the increasing importance of the readiness of gas facilities to meet the needs of various sectors of the country, this issue has become even more significant.

Challenges and Obstacles Ahead
During this visit, Bord addressed the existing challenges in terms of equipment and human resources supply and emphasized the need to expedite the repair processes of the facilities. Among the obstacles ahead are the lack of financial resources and delays in the supply of spare parts. These issues can negatively impact the production capacity of natural gas and the energy supply of the country during the cold days of the year.
The head of the Ministry of Oil also emphasized the importance of cooperation with domestic and foreign companies to compensate for shortages and expedite the reconstruction processes of the facilities. According to him, utilizing domestic capacities can help reduce dependence on imports and increase self-sufficiency in the oil and gas industry.
Bord also outlined the Ministry of Oil's plans to increase gas production capacity and improve energy infrastructure in the country, emphasizing the ministry's determination to resolve existing issues and strive to enhance service quality. This trip is of high significance as a practical step towards meeting the country's energy needs during the cold seasons and strengthening gas production capacities.
