Bord stated that this industry has extensive capacities for creating added value and generating income.

Bord pointed out the necessity of strengthening the regulatory and governance role of the National Petrochemical Company in the petrochemical industry, stating that this issue must be pursued seriously in various dimensions. According to him, collaboration with different sectors to examine and manage the market situation and prices of petrochemical products is of great importance.
Development of Oil and Gas Fields for Sustainable Feedstock Supply
The caretaker of the Ministry of Oil also emphasized the entry of the petrochemical industry into the development of the country's oil and gas fields to ensure a sustainable feedstock supply. He stressed the necessity of taking fundamental actions to maintain the continuity of petrochemical product exports and foreign exchange earnings for the country, stating that efforts should be made to return the foreign exchange obtained from these exports to the country's economic cycle.
Bord further emphasized the importance of pursuing the reconstruction programs of the damaged petrochemical units during the imposed war, adding: "The issue of reconstruction must be pursued seriously, and all available capacities should be utilized to expedite this process."
He also thanked the managers and colleagues in the petrochemical industry, saying: "In this industry, a collection of experiences and expertise has come together, and it is expected that all stakeholders will strive with renewed motivation to advance the country's goals."
