Hamid Bord, the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil, in his latest statements announced the acceleration of development programs in the country's oil industry and stated that these programs are being pursued with greater speed and accuracy. According to him, these actions are part of ongoing efforts to increase production capacity and improve the country's oil infrastructure.

Development of oil fields and production capacity

The development programs of the Ministry of Oil include the optimal exploitation of the country's oil and gas fields. The current oil production capacity of the country is about 3.8 million barrels per day, and the Ministry of Oil intends to increase this capacity to over 4.5 million barrels per day. This target has been set considering domestic needs as well as exports.

Key projects and investment

In this regard, key projects in oil fields such as the Azadegan field and the Yadavaran field are underway. The Azadegan field, with a production capacity of about 600,000 barrels per day, is considered one of the most important oil fields in the country, receiving special attention. Additionally, the Yadavaran field, with a production capacity of 300,000 barrels per day, is being developed and optimized.

The caretaker of the Ministry of Oil also emphasized the importance of investment in oil infrastructure and added: "The private sector and foreign investors must also be active in this area so that we can achieve the set goals." This strategy is designed to attract foreign investments and develop new technologies in the country's oil industry.

Challenges and solutions

However, Bord also referred to the challenges ahead and said: "We are facing financial constraints and sanctions, which may affect the speed of project progress." He emphasized the need to make optimal use of domestic resources and strengthen international cooperation.

Ultimately, it seems that the development programs of Iran's oil industry, despite existing challenges, are being pursued with greater seriousness and speed, and it is hoped that these actions will lead to an increase in production capacity and improvement in the country's economic situation.
