Hamed Jalali, an economic issues expert, pointed to the energy imbalance and water resource limitations in Iran, highlighting the importance of infrastructure reconstruction and the use of modern technologies in the facilities industry. He stated that the country faces serious challenges in managing consumption and the need to rebuild damaged infrastructure.

The Necessity of Using Modern Technologies in the Facilities Industry

The facilities industry in Iran, with a history of nearly 70 years, is one of the pioneers in this field in the Middle East. Jalali continued by saying: Facilities products are used in various areas such as buildings, power plants, oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, and construction projects. Therefore, this industry is considered one of the vital pillars of the country's economy.

He also mentioned the upcoming international exhibition of facilities and heating and cooling systems, adding that this exhibition could provide a suitable opportunity for stakeholders to become acquainted with domestic producers and help accelerate the supply of equipment and infrastructure reconstruction.

Improving Quality and Developing Industrial Interactions

Jalali emphasized that the development of the facilities industry should be accompanied by improved quality and efficiency. Introducing export capacities and new technologies is one of the main goals of the Tehran Facilities Exhibition. He added that the country's specialized workforce can pave the way for joint production collaborations and technology transfer with other countries.

This economic expert also referred to the existing competition in the region and said: The Tehran Facilities Exhibition, relying on its credibility over the past 20 years, remains the most important specialized event in this industry in the country. Although competition in this field has increased, the Tehran exhibition, as a recognized brand, has attracted the attention of neighboring countries.

Jalali concluded by emphasizing the necessity of government support for producers and facilitating exhibition processes. He called for support from the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology for knowledge-based companies so they can expand their research and development activities. Additionally, reducing administrative bureaucracy in sectors related to the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade could help organizers improve the quality of their events.

He also pointed to the problems faced by producers in terms of liquidity and securing raw materials and urged responsible authorities to take necessary measures to help alleviate these issues. The 25th International Exhibition of Facilities and Heating, Cooling, and Air Conditioning Systems will be held from October 6 to 9 in Tehran.
