Alignment with the Oil Industry Value Chain
Alikhani also emphasized the necessity of aligning research and technological programs with the needs of the oil industry value chain. He added: "New research and technologies should be designed in a way that directly contributes to solving operational challenges and improving efficiency. This approach can not only help increase productivity in the oil and gas industry but also lead to greater value addition from hydrocarbon resources."
According to the provided statistics, Iran's crude oil production capacity in various oil fields, especially joint fields, can significantly increase. For example, the Azadegan oil field with an approximate capacity of 500,000 barrels per day and the Yadavaran oil field with a capacity of 300,000 barrels per day are among the key fields that require research and innovation in technology.
Alikhani also pointed to the importance of collaboration between scientific and research centers and the National Iranian Oil Company, stating: "This collaboration can help accelerate the achievement of practical solutions and reduce the time required for the implementation of new technologies."
Ultimately, he emphasized that the application of modern technologies and applied research in the oil and gas industry not only helps solve current challenges but can also lead to sustainable development of this industry in the future.
