Dena Energy has brought about a new transformation in the exploration of hydrocarbon resources in Iran by executing the 3D seismic survey project at the Haftkel-Sefid Oil Field, commissioned by the Exploration Department of the National Iranian Oil Company. This project was carried out over an area of 2,250 square kilometers located in Khuzestan Province, within the boundaries of Haftkel, Ramhormoz, Bavi, Shushtar, Masjed Soleyman, and Bagmalek counties.
Details of the Haftkel Project
Despite the extensive operational scale, the Haftkel project was completed 10 months ahead of the initial schedule. During the execution of this project, Dena Energy succeeded in setting national records in seismic and drilling operations. Among these records are the acquisition of 10,001 seismic shots in one month and the drilling of 10,753 holes in one month, which are recognized as unprecedented performances in this field.
National Records and Human Resources
During the execution of this project, the maximum daily mapping efficiency was recorded at 1,371 points in one day, as well as the highest daily drilling efficiency at 444 holes in one day. Over 500 operational personnel, 85 drilling teams, and 12 contractors were employed for this project, demonstrating the company's high capability in managing large projects.
Dena Energy has been active in the field of geophysics since 2003 and has become one of the leading companies in the hydrocarbon resource exploration industry by executing numerous projects in seismic data acquisition, processing, and interpretation over the years. The company has also participated in various national and international projects.
The experience and successes of Dena Energy in the Haftkel project represent a significant step towards the development of modern technologies and analytics in exploratory processes. This approach has helped the company to go beyond merely being a data acquisition contractor and to become a decision-making analyst.
