The National Iranian Drilling Company has completed 63 wells with the aim of developing and optimizing oil and gas production in the first half of the current year. Of these, 48 wells have been identified as repair wells and 15 as development and descriptive wells.
Details of Completed Wells
Mortaza Fooladi, CEO of the National Iranian Drilling Company, announced that 46 of the completed wells are within the operational range of the National South Oilfields Company, 5 wells in the Central Iranian Oil Company, 6 wells in the Iranian Offshore Oil Company, 1 well in the Engineering and Development of Oil Company, and 5 wells have also been completed and delivered as part of drilling projects. These efforts reflect the continuous endeavors of this company towards optimizing production and increasing operational capacities.
Drilling Length and Technical Services
Fooladi also referred to the drilling length of the wells, stating that from the beginning of Farvardin to the end of Shahrivar, the drilling length has reached 71,836 meters. During this period, 3,231 cases of integrated technical and specialized services in the drilling industry have been provided to wells in drilling stages or in operation that required repairs. These services include 2,535 technical operations and 696 special drilling operations.
Reconstruction and Renewal Plans
The CEO of the National Iranian Drilling Company pointed to a major plan for the reconstruction and renewal of the drilling fleet and equipment used in technical and engineering services, stating that this plan is being implemented with the emphasis of the Ministry of Oil and the National Iranian Oil Company. Fooladi added that parts of this plan are in the bidding stage, some are in the contract signing stage, and several are currently under implementation. In this regard, the construction of two heavy land rigs has entered the execution phase, and the reconstruction of two drilling rigs and several technical service equipment is also being carried out using the company's internal capacities and outsourcing.
Renewal of Drilling Rigs
Fooladi mentioned the renewal and repairs of 6 land drilling rigs in recent months, stating that these rigs have been put into operation and now 12 heavy and light land drilling units of the company are being relocated to operational positions in various provinces. These actions will significantly contribute to increasing operational capacity and improving the quality of services provided by the National Iranian Drilling Company.
