Tehran Oil Refinery, symbolized as "Shatran", in a letter to the Supervision Office for Food and Chemical Publishers, elaborated on the calculation of invoices for feedstock and products received from the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company. These explanations follow recent correspondence from the Ministry of Oil and the Cabinet's resolution to determine the pricing mechanism.

Feedstock and Products Prices in 1405

According to the information announced by the company, the feedstock and products prices for the months of Khordad and Tir 1405, until June 22, have been calculated based on the prices of Bahman 1404. These changes are aimed at increasing transparency and improving the company's financial performance and will have a direct impact on financial calculations.

According to the provided explanations, from the mentioned date onwards, the basis for calculating prices will change to the current prices of international reference publications and pricing guideline number 903 dated January 23, 1402. This change is made to align with international standards and improve the company's competitiveness.

Impact of Cabinet Resolutions on Prices

In another part of this letter, referencing Cabinet resolution number 81312/ت66175هـ dated October 7, 1405, it was announced that the prices for Shahrivar 1405 will be calculated based on notification number 20/2-903 and similar to the months of Tir and Mordad of the same year. This action is taken to stabilize prices and prevent unusual price fluctuations.

Tehran Oil Refinery also announced that from the beginning of Mehr 1405, until the end of unusual fluctuations in international feedstock and products prices, the calculation and announcement of prices will be based on clause 7 of the Cabinet resolution dated October 7, 1405. This change in procedure is intended to ensure stability and transparency in the pricing of raw materials and petroleum products.

The publication of this information clarifies the basis for calculating the prices of feedstock and products at Tehran Oil Refinery over different months of the year. This information is important for reviewing the calculation of invoices related to feedstock and products and assessing the potential impacts of changing the pricing basis on the company's financial performance; although the final effect on the profitability of "Shatran" will depend on the details of the calculations and the company's financial information.
