Bastan Kermanshah hosted Naft Abadan in the fourth week of the Iranian first division football league at their home stadium. This match, recognized as one of the crucial encounters of the week, was an important opportunity for both teams to get closer to the top of the table by earning three points.
The First Half Ended in a Draw
In the first half, the Bastan team, led by Reza Enayati, displayed a more dominant performance and created three one-on-one opportunities. However, the inaccuracy of the team's strikers resulted in the first half ending without any goals. Naft Abadan also failed to capitalize on their opportunities during this half. At the beginning of the second half, the Abadan team found themselves in goal-scoring positions again, but Ali Mohsenzadeh, the goalkeeper for Bastan, prevented the opponent from scoring with his spectacular saves.

Decisive Changes in the Second Half
In the 59th minute, a mistake by Mohammad Setari in clearing the ball allowed Amin Asadi to score the first goal for Bastan. After this goal, Bastan continued their game, and just ten minutes later, Mehdi Amini, the goalkeeper for Naft Abadan, slipped while clearing the ball, allowing Saeed Hosseinpour to score the second goal for Bastan. With these two goals, Bastan took a 2-0 lead.
Although after these goals, Naft Abadan exerted extra pressure to recover the score, in the final minutes, Morteza Khorasani managed to score a goal from a cross from the right side, but this goal was not enough to prevent defeat.
With this victory, Bastan Kermanshah climbed to second place in the table with 7 points, while Naft Abadan continued with their previous 5 points. This result reflects the high effort and determination of Bastan's players, who, under the guidance of Reza Enayati, have managed to showcase a remarkable performance this season.
