Ahmad Emtehani, the manager of Region 4 of Iran's Gas Transmission Operations, announced the preparation of the Sarbishe station for completing the gas network ring in the provinces of South Khorasan and Sistan and Baluchestan. This action is part of the major plans of the country's gas transmission industry aimed at preventing risks arising from pressure drops or potential incidents during the high-consumption seasons of the year.
The Necessity of Ensuring Gas Supply Stability
Emtehani further emphasized the necessity of ensuring gas supply stability for consumers, stating: "In crisis management and gas operation, we emphasize the principle of proactivity." He added that over 15,000 residential, commercial, and industrial consumers previously depended on a single supply route, and with the design and implementation of new changes, a valve has now been installed for a second branch from the pipeline.
Macro Perspective and Connection of Transmission Lines
The manager of Region 4 of Iran's Gas Transmission Operations, referring to the macro perspective of this project and its connection to the newly constructed Nehbadan-Sarbishe line, stated: "Connecting the transmission lines to this national project guarantees the complete connection of the gas transmission ring in the southeast of the country to the national network." This action ensures that considering the volume of operations for preparing the Sarbishe station and the necessity of maintaining gas supply stability during the winter, all necessary measures and infrastructure have been meticulously and proactively completed before the onset of the cold season.
Enhancing Gas Transmission Stability
Emtehani also noted that with the completion of the Nehbadan-Sarbishe pipeline, the final connection will be made with minimal operational execution and in the shortest possible time without interruption in gas supply. This action is considered a valuable step in enhancing gas transmission stability across the eastern region of the country.
